Lovely x Cation 1 & 2 have been visual novels of some renown in recent years. The impending port to PlayStation Vita on May 21st in Japan alleviates fan’s expectations, as more news on plentiful features are publicly released. Adult content used to be present in these visual novels, and recent updates make these features all the more relevant—or one could say irrelevant, since the port to PlayStation Vita means the decline and omitting of the adult content. The addition of more scenarios and events in this game is their attempt to replace the adult content with a more “clean” experience

Small alterations of this title will be included in this visual novel as well. Players will have the option to choose the nickname of their character from a list, and girls in the game will refer to the protagonist’s given name. A new hobby system proclaims it will allow more variety and deeper connection between the characters, regarding player choice on particular scenarios in game.  Additionally, an Alternative Reality camera mode that gives players the ability to snap a picture with your favorite heroine allows for some degree of fan service.
