The twelve episode sci-fi and comedy ecchi anime Punch Line is getting a game adaptation for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
A bus hijacking, entering the spirit world, and Earth destroying meteorites triggered by seeing a girl’s panties twice in a row. These are just a few of the wacky daily experiences our protagonist from currently airing Punch Line ecchi anime series goes through. In this week’s edition of Famitsu magazine 5pb, they have announced a title based on the anime currently being produced for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita.
The game is being produced by Kazuhiro Ichikawa, who previously worked on such titles as Ever17: The out of Infinity and the 5pb. remake of Corpse Party. Kotaro Uchikoshi, the writer for Ever17 and the Zero Escape series of games will be handling Punch Line’s story. Further details on the title are scarce at best and the only other information available for now is that two versions of the game are supposed to have endings differing from the anime’s original which, at the time of writing, still has not aired in Japan.
We will be keeping you updated if any new information about Punch Line shows up on the Earth-dooming panty shot horizon.
