A Question of Etiquette

We recently have received complaints about some behaviors and statements of some of our writers. Let me assure you that we have taken the time and utmost care to give these complaints the full weight they deserve.

We at LewdGamer consider ourselves less of a traditional hierarchical top-down structure, but pride ourselves in taking input from all of our staff (which includes people from multiple nationalities, ethnicities, at least three genders, and a wide spectrum of political outlooks).

We appreciate the time you have taken to write us this feedback letter. We understand you appear offended by some of the remarks made by some of our authors on their personal social media accounts and wish to sincerely assure you that their remarks do not represent the intentions of LewdGamer.

We strongly believe in the concepts of equality, something-something, and freedom of expression. As such, we fully support you in expressing your opinions and criticism of the authors in question. Just as much as we support their right to say something offensive, which by the very nature of this site is not just highly probable, but inevitable.

In fact, we support your freedom of expression so much, that the staff of LewdGamer have taken the liberty of suggesting a few hashtags  to boycott us with.

The complaint questioned if we wanted to be associated with some of the comments being made.

Here is our response:

We would much rather be associated with someone who makes a potentially distasteful joke than to give in to the demands of someone who tries to threaten another’s livelihood by attempting to get them fired.

There are many other sites that I’m sure you will find less offensive to your sensibilities than ours. We encourage you to use them. You are also more than welcome to express your outrage, and ideally, write a few damning Tumblr posts about us.
We do appreciate the traffic.
